While I was giving Lillian a bath this evening she crossed her feet and was on her side. She would have rolled completely over but there wasn't enough room. After the bath I got her dressed and put her on her stomach on the floor while I was bagging up Duplos in the closet. She moved 1/4 of a circle, now facing me, and she rolled over on to her back! Soon enough she will be mobile!
Just a place for us to go to keep our families updated on life while stationed over seas. :)

Dizzy the Clown
We went to DarbyLand tonight because I saw on facebook that they were having a clown there. Hardly any kids were there so we ended up staying a while because it took Andrew a while to warm up to him but once he did he had a great time. He has been a clown for 31 yrs. Very nice guy!
One picture shows Andrew fishing with Dizzy. He made Andrew a fishing pole with a fish on the end.
Santa 2013
This was taken at about 7:30 pm at the Dakota Square Mall yesterday. I woke her toput her hair bow on & handed her to Santa. She was furious to say the least... Andrew was tickled to death to be sitting next to Santa!! When Santa asked him what he wanted for Christmas he said, "Pink Bird Stella with a gum" (pink angry bird, Princess Leia with a gun) for some reason he calls her Stella, so funny!!

Twisting Tongue
Tried getting a picture of her twisting her tongue. She does it all of the time. Couldn't get one of her doing it but still a super cute picture!!

Saturday, November 16, 2013
Well I guess today was a very eventful day. (Kind of)
-My new niece Catherine was born at 5:01 pm, Molly's second daughter. Now my parents are grandparents to 22 grandchildren!
-We worked on packing some and removed those wall stickers from Andrew's room & from his bathroom.
-Brought down the already packed boxes from Lillian and Andrew's rooms.
And I know it is so late right now, but both of the kids took late naps this evening, but on the way down stairs I told Andrew to look out the window. There was snow on the ground. (Winter has been very slow, thank goodness, on the white stuff this year in Minot) He looked outside through the tall skinny window by the front door. And it was the sweetest/coolest thing! He takes a gentle, quiet deep breath in then says quietly, "Christmas!" (But in a quiet/amazed voice) paused a few seconds and said quietly, "It's so magical!"
But Drew told me while we were getting stickers off of the walls upstairs, "Man, TMO is going to love you!" And then I said, "And why is that?" "Because you packed everything up and all they have to do is load it up!" haha. I hope it is okay to do that anyways.. I need to go through everything and get rid of what we do not need anymore and figured just packing up the stuff we do so no more messes.

Lil' Riders Play Ground & Rough Riders (Pizza)
Happy Halloween! 2013
Halloween is one of my top favorite holidays but I am kind of glad it is finally over, for Andrew's sake. He has been deathly afraid of anything dealing with Halloween, except the candy. Well I take that back, He was freaking out when he dumped the candy out and was going through it and saw a finger... Tin covered chocolate that was designed to be a finger. So Drew took it, ate it, and threw away the wrapper.. haha. But all in all we had a great time tonight!
Our evening went as follows:
First we went to the base hospital and went trick or treating there. We thought it was packed when we went, stood in line like 15 minutes before going through, but when we came out the line was all the way to the parking lot! But this is where Andrew and Lillian got the most candy. It was a little on the spooky side for a toddler but probably perfect for school aged kids. (Although there were A LOT of toddlers and babies that did not have any trouble with it, like I said before Halloween creeps Andrew out this year) But his favorite treat of the night he got from a lady there who had two big buckets, one was full of apples and one was full of candy, and she gave them the choice. He chose the apple and pretty much ate it right away! But they both ended up with their buckets full. He had a Darth Vader one and her's was a glow in the dark pumpkin one. When done we went to the car and dumped the candy in a grocery bag so they could use the buckets at the next place.
Second we went to the Squadron Halloween Party and we had hot dogs there and the kids were able to get some more candy. They showed the Charlie Brown Pumpkin cartoon. (I know that's not the name of it...)
Third we went to the neighborhood community "Trunk Or Treat" party. It ended up being in a huge bay area because I guess we were expecting snow. But this evening's weather was quite nice if you ask me! But within like 30 minutes we were done there, not a lot going on really.
The fourth and final thing that we did was just the regular door to door trick or treating. Someone had previously told Drew the road to go down and do if we were going to go and that was were like the highest ranking people live. The one street was all that we got to do though because they were both done and ready to go home. But they both ended up getting two full size candy bars and there was a goody bag that was given out that had all sorts of goodies in it.
Every time we got done at one place we would dump their buckets into that one grocery bag. By the end of the night the grocery bag was FULL!!
Even though I ended up carrying Andrew for 75% of the night and Lillian cried 75% of the time on the last street, we all had a good time. Next up is Thanksgiving, then after that we will be back in the South for Christmas! (Just barely making it in time)
Below is a picture (Left to Right) Of my Lillian and on the right is her cousin (who is actually Andrew's age) Chloe (My little sister's daughter) It is crazy how much they look alike. We lived in Germany when Chloe was born... and grew up. I have never really seen her in person but a few times. My sister posted this to my FaceBook page today.

October 19, 2013
In the mornings Lillian sometimes was a few minutes before me and she will lay there and just talk, it is so cute! I cannot believe how big Little Miss Lillian has gotten! She already wears 12-18 month clothing half of the time! I still need to schedule her 4 month appointment. But the last WIC appointment I did, she was 3 1/2 months, she weighed in at 17.5 pounds. Her hair has lightened up a bit too. When she was born it was nearly black but now is a light brown. But she is a very happy baby! I will try and post some more recent pictures.
Monday is Drew's birthday and he will be 31. We are all going out to an Irish Restaurant in Minot. Today we went to town all together and went to the movies and saw "Cloudy With A Chance Of Meat Balls" It was pretty good. Andrew seemed to enjoy it anyways. At times it seemed he was the only one in the theater laughing. And Little Miss Lillian just loved staring up at the screen! And towards the end she did a lot of talking, it was hard to keep her quiet.
I cannot believe that we only have 6-7 weeks left here in Minot! It has already gotten cold here and some areas in ND have already gotten snow! It seems the Autumn weather only stayed with us a few weeks. And ever since it turned cooler it seems I can never stay warm! It seems my feet are always cold and it makes it so hard to fall asleep at night. And yes, the heater is on and we do have warm blankets. haha. But I am not looking forward to the snow... Last year I think I had enough to last me for a while! haha.

Growing...
And the picture of Lillian with black on her face was taken last night when I got busy cleaning or something and Andrew decided Lillian needed some makeup on. He got my brand new mascara and put it on her. It was the cutest thing. But I did have to let him know that it is not safe to put stuff on her without Mama being rgere.

Woke Andrew early today and going to see how that goes. Hoping he will take a nap earlier and have a better attitude throughout the day. He usually sleeps in then gets tired at 6 but it is too late for a nap so just have to deal with a bad mood til bedtime, which is usually late.. I would just like to get him on a normal schedule that works for everyone! My kids are just night owls. Lillian goes to bed at 10 and usually sleeps til 11 or 1 but Andrew does not fall asleep til SUPER later and usually is awake by 10.

We just left JoAnn's Fabric and I got 4 yards of the Snuggle Flannels and 6 yards of tulle. The flannels were 2.99 a yard and the tulles were only 1.33 a yard! If I would have known that tulle was so cheap then I would have gotten some a long time ago! Never was able to find drawing pencils though...
This evening we went to Perkins to eat dinner with his squadron. They are going to have a bonfire party on the 28th of this month. But we had a good time at dinner and Little Miss Lillian did her first laugh out loud while we were there, it was so sweet! And,
what made her laugh was... Andrew taking a drink from his cup through the straw. :D

Scandinavian Park
Here are some pictures from this past Monday at the Scandinavian Park in Minot, ND. This was our first time walking around the park and looking at everything. Our purpose of going was to slide down the hills. The hill we were at was so steep that Andrew didn't want to do anything but throw balls down to the bottom. (Drew was the one sliding down & climbing up the hill! It was so funny) I wanted to slide down too but was busy feeding Lillian like the whole time. The seat of Drew's shorts were green from the grass but we all had fun and laughed a lot.

This week I have done a few little projects with Andrew. The last one was him digging for treasures in a tub of rice. I have been organizing and downsizing when I found a bag of pretty "crystal" fish tank rocks. We still had a pretty good amount of rice in our 10 pound rice bag so I figured I could let him play in some. He had a blast with it! And it kept him busy while I went through stuff.
I have been on the pinterest website a lot lately and "pinning" all sorts of fun things to do with Andrew. (and recipes, decorating ideas, uplifting stuff, Halloween ideas, crafts... And the list goes on) and I have decided I need to actually DO a couple of these things that I "pin". I have been pleased with what I have been able to accomplish.

This evening while Lillian was sleeping Andrew and I did a fun project together. I started out with different bowls & a pan so he could see the reaction of baking soda & vinegar together but then we used a glass bottle. He had so much fun! Then at 7:30 I took him for a long walk to the gas station to get him tired for bed. He should get some good sleep! Haha. Hoping to get moving early in the morning so we can get some stuff done.

Cheeseburger Pie
This morning I told Andrew he was my favorite boy and then he responds saying, "Mama, you're my favorite girl!"
Drew is away right now, he went off base to get some groceries and some stuff for his night shifts. He has been having night shift Monday starting at 12 AM til like 6 AM or so. And he sleeps all Sunday (After church) And then Tuesday 12 AM- 6 AM or so and will come home and sleep a few hours then go and do something with us. He cannot sleep long on Tuesday because he has to go to bed like a regular night and go to work the next morning, like a regular workday. I enjoy the night shift because while he is sleeping I usually take the kids out so it is quiet. We usually go and try to find something fun to do.

Sweet Memories
So during Sunday School I went to the Mother's Room to feed Lilly and change her diaper. Well as I am sitting in the chair feeding her I hear this sweet little voice singing "Skip To My Lu" I knew it was Andrew. So I hurried up with her and went out to see what was going on. (thinking the nursery teachers were looking for me to change his diaper) Well I walk into the gym (The Mother's Room is connected to the gym) And I see Drew and asked what Andrew was out of Nursery for. He said the teacher brought Andrew to him because he needed to use the rest room. (Andrew told the teacher he needed to pee when he was in nursery) And then I asked, "So, what did you do with him?" then Drew said, "I took him in the bathroom and held his hands so he wouldn't fall in the toilet and he peed." Oh, you have no idea how happy this makes me! This is his first time using the bathroom away from home and not only that, he let someone know he had to go even when he had a diaper on!! Drew said that Andrew looked at the urinals on the wall funny and said, "Dad, what's that?" haha
Today Lillian was good during church, I had to take her to the Mother's Room twice to feed her. But once we got home... she started crying. And she has been crying off and on all evening. Right now she is on my lap asleep. During Relief Society during the last hour of church you could tell she was tired. So I laid her on my lap and gently bounced my leg and she fell right to sleep laying across my lap.
Andrew loves to sing! It is so sweet to hear him sing to his sister when she is crying.
I recorded some different TV shows for his age for him to watch every once in a while. Today he watched one called "Little Bill" (It is a cartoon that Bill Cosby made) And he looks at me and says, "Mama Little Bill is my favorite!"
So during Lillian's New Born Photo Shoot there were these beautiful hair bands that she got to use. The lady that makes them asked if it'd be alright if she could use some of the pictures of Lillian as advertisement for her bows and I said that she could. Well in return she said she will make Lillian her own hair bow for free. She asked me which one I'd like and I told her that we loved the beautiful purple one from the photo shoot. Well she said that is one of her hot items and she currently does not have any. So she asked what colors I would like in it and she would just make a new design. I told her pink and purple. (I honestly had no idea what colors to pick) And she texted me a picture of it last night and it is beautiful! She posted the picture on her business page on FaceBook today and already people are asking for it! So we are the first to get this bow... well because she made it for us which is pretty cool.

Out Door Movie Night!
This is the Skandinavian Park here in Minot, ND. This is the 2nd movie night this summer, that I know of. This was our first time attending. A free movie and they were handing out free popcorn too. It really was a lot of fun! We ended up staying for like only half of the movie though. Drew was so tired and could barely stay awake and it was getting a little cold for Lilly. We always pass it in town but I have never gone to "look" at it. All I know is, I want us to have family pictures taken there!

Crock Pot Cooking
After church: "Man! I guess I forgot to plug it in" (So I plug it in)
30 min later: "Why is the blender light on?" (plugged in the wrong thing!)
But we will be having BBQ Chicken for dinner!!
At church today I guess Drew was taking too long talking to someone after Sacrament because Andrew got up and went to nursery all by himself! Drew went straight to nursery when he was done talking to make sure that that was where he went. Lillian slept the whole way through church, well except the last 10 minutes. But the lessons given were just what I needed to hear so maybe her sleeping through church was a blessing much bigger than what I thought because I was able to pay more attention.
Well, I have noticed that I never did post the pictures from Lillian's New Born Photo Shoot (she was 2 weeks old) So I will probably post them next. Speaking of which... So the pretty little bows used during the photo shoot a lady on base, I think, makes them. And I found out there is an "OTHERS" folder for the FaceBook mail so I checked it. I saw that I had an email from the lady that makes the bows that Lillian had on that day. She wanted to give use a free bow to thank us for letting her use some of the pictures from the photo-shoot for advertisement. I was like 6 weeks late on replying to her but she is still going to make a bow for her! I looked through her picture and found some that I will probably like to purchase for Halloween.
