May 19, 2013

We spent 6-7 hrs today helping the Bean family pack their moving truck. I was in charge of watching the three boys, who were 3 and under, since I am pregnant & can't really help move. But Andrew, Coleman, and Daniel behaved pretty well and got along pretty good. That family will be greatly missed!

The Bean Family Farewell

Yesterday we went to Buffalo Wild Wings for a going away party for Brian, Jessica, and Coleman Bean. It was my first time eating there and was pretty good. There were a lot of people that showed up! I know they will be greatly missed by many!
Today we are heading over to the Bean's house at noon to help them finish packing and to help load everything I'm the UHual.

A Nice Little Break

Today I had an appointment with WIC at 12:40. Drew had today off so him & Andrew stayed home. I left home a little after 11 and dropped some pants by a friend's house then headed off base. I know it is not the best decision but I went to lunch by myself at McDONALD'S. After my appointment I went to CVS & got 3 packs of diapers for Little Lilly and then went to KMart to check out their baby stuff. While looking at everything a guy with a camera and a lady came up to me and started interviewing me to be on the 6:00 news. I purposely started messing up so they wouldn't put me on... Haha. Guess it worked because I never saw it on the local news! (Unless I got the wrong channel)
I returned home and dropped everything off just to go back in to town alone for Relief Society Night at church. We had a Chocolate Party. There were a lot of yummy desserts. But on the way home I was feeling sick to my stomach. Too many sweets! Haha. Although I honestly did not have that many. :)

UltraSound

Today I woke before Drew left for work & was not able to go back to sleep. Not long after he left I heard the garage door open and then close. So I laid in bed a little confused but he came up and told me he had the day off to go with me to the doctor. Drew fell asleep pretty much as soon as he sat in the chair in the ultrasound room. But the technician told me since I was high risk pregnancy that I get to have this extra ultrasound. But he checked everything & said it all looked good. He said the baby was.measuring put to be about 6 pounds. And he was not able to confirm the gender because of the positioning of the baby.

Dr Called This Morning

Well the nurses have apparently been trying to call me since Friday with results from my blood work last week. Drew called me & told me they called his phone & wanted me to call them back as soon as possible. I finally was able to get a hold of them & they scheduled me for a ultra sound for tomorrow at 2! Just hoping to find out more of what is going on tomorrow. No one really knows anything about it except my mom. But I did ask for an unspoken prayer request on Facebook. I will let everyone know more after tomorrow. I have sort of half way packed my hospital bag with some clothes for Lilly & I, just incase.
I did look up some stuff on Google about pregnancies with high antibodies and found out that the Dr's will allow you to carry the baby til they feel the baby is at too big of a risk & then induce labor. I have about 4 weeks and 5ish days left to go and just hope to carry as long as possible. Also read that the risks go up with each pregnancy after.
But today I have felt Little Lillian move a lot today. :) I guess a good thing that has come from this is another chance to see our sweet baby in another ultra sound. And guess this will be another confirmation of baby being a girl.

Mother's Day

Yesterday was Mother's Day & we made it to church even a few minutes early. The nursery ended up not needing help from me or Drew, we usually each stay an hour & help. After church the women of the ward got to enjoy a cupcake. Andrew came in the Relief Society Room & snuck one off the table. He licked the top of it so no body would want to take it back. But luckily there were extras anyways. Andrew handed me a potted plant (well soil with a seed in it) and he looked at me with a serious look on his face & said... "There is a seed in the middle and it will grow into a flower, but you have to water it. I will be your helper."
Ahh, Andrew is such a Sweet Heart! Seriously I love that boy more & more everyday.

It is Monday night now (well technically Tuesday morning since it is 1:25 AM) But this evening Drew took me to WalMart to get a pedicure. This was my second time ever getting one. (the last time was nearly 7 yrs ago when I pulled a ligament in my foot) but it was so nice! It cost $30 + I gave the lady a $5 tip. The chair that I sat in was a massage chair so that felt good on my back! Before going Andrew suggested that I get them painted yellow... U was wanting like a bright pink or orange though. Well I was look through the colors they had and could not find one I liked... Until I found a bright yellow! So Andrew loved my toes. :) but if I go again before having Lillian then I will see if I can bring my own paint for them to use. :) They just did not really have any bright colors like I was hoping for. But I am thankful for a caring and loving husband to give me such a gift for Mother's Day!

Drew's CCAF Graduation

Today has been pretty good. Andrew and I woke and got dressed thinking we'd take Drew back to work after his lunch and use the car but instead we got a call at 12:45 with him telling us to be ready for his graduation. (We were there by 1:10 or so... didn't start til 3 but at least there early enough) It was already 5:30 by the time we were done with errands so I told Drew to pick somewhere to go for his graduation dinner, so I didn't have to cook :) We ended up going to Wings & Rings (or whatever it's called) and well we finally found somewhere here that is good! Drew had a burger with onion rings and I had fried chicken tenders smothered in BBQ sauce with fries and ranch. (We also had a starter which was Mac & Cheese, it was so good!) Andrew slept on the bench the whole time we were there so we stopped by McDonalds drive through on the way home and got him a cheeseburger happy meal. (he ended up sleeping for 3 hrs! I will probably be up late with him tonight..)

At the graduation there were a lot of people there, they set up 300 seats and there were still a LOT of people standing in the back! So every time people clapped/cheered it was pretty loud. Andrew needed a nap but was doing pretty good. He got upset a few times because he said people were being too loud. haha. And he would say loudly after they clapped/cheered, "No, too loud!" (They were yelling crazy stuff when some people went up) And a few times the clapping would get quiet and Andrew would say loudly, "I want cake!" haha. That's all he talked about during the graduation was getting a piece of cake afterwords.

My phone is charging right now but later tonight I will post some pictures from the graduation. (I LOVE that I can blog on here with my cell phone!)

Circus Fun

Last night we took Andrew to his first Circus!
He really enjoyed himself too. He had two acts that he really liked. He loved when the lady came out to juggle, and then she also juggled fire which he loved too. And then he just loved the clown act! He laughed and squealed out loud with excitement. The people sitting around us would turn and look at Andrew because he was having such a good time.
I had the stomach bug on Monday and got a blessing and was feeling better come evening time. I was just hoping and praying that Drew & Andrew wouldn't get it next. Well Tuesday everyone was fine & I was feeling a lot better than the day before so we all went to the circus. Well this morning Andrew was watching tv in our bed while I was still trying to wake up. Then I hear a cough and without thinking about it I grab him and run for the toilet. Luckily I have been very blessed with Andrew understanding he needs to go to the toilet with an icky stomach. (although he still is not potty trained) He has been in very good spirits today though which has also been a blessing. He seems to be feeling fine now though and has only gotten sick twice today. (which is how many times I got sick on Monday)
We were supposed to meet with the Bishop at church this evening but don't want to pass this bug around. I guess we'll just have to try again another time.
Drew has like 1 more week of ALS left before he is done with that. I am supposed to go to the graduation and it is cocktail style dress/formal... Well I told him to let his instructors know that I will be the under dressed one there.. haha. I just don't have anywhere to by anything nice because I am plus size plus I will have like 5 weeks left of this pregnancy. So we'll see how this goes..
