Baby Lillian

Today one of the weirdest/coolest things happened! I was sitting on the couch down in the den while Andrew was playing and I sitting more on the left side of my butt leaned towards the left. This hard ball like shape pokes out of my left side! It was crazy! haha. Little Lillian was stretching I guess. She did it like 2 or 3 times and then it was like she went back to sleep or something. And then she didn't really start moving again til Drew came home like an hour or two later. He walked into the den and said hey to us and my stomach jumped 3 big times! haha. I had never felt so many BIG movements in one day. Usually I mostly just feel her at night right before I go to bed and then in the morning when I wake up. She was one active little girl today!

Easter Sunday 2013

Happy Easter!! (Well technically it is 1 AM on April 1st right now...) Our goal for today was to go to church at least for Sacrament Meeting. :) Just lately it has been so hard to make it in between the nasty weather, road conditions, sicknesses and Drew having to work. But we did it! We actually made it to church just on time and we were able to stay for all 3 hrs! WooHoo!
So Andrew woke up in the middle of the night scared. Apparently Drew heard him and went in to see if everything was okay. (Usually he just comes in our room and hopes in bed with us when he is scared) But he Drew brought him in and Andrew laid down beside me and told me that he saw monsters in his room. (Poor Baby) So I held him close and let him know that it wasn't real and told him everything was alright. I also told him the monsters do not come to our home because they are scared of his Daddy. :) So getting him up in the morning to see his Easter Basket was kind of hard because he was heavily sleeping. (Luckily we do not have church til 11, but starting on like April 14th we will start at 11:30)

For the baskets, we did the baseball one for him and pretty much the other stuff, extras for Drew and me and family stuff we just put in the other one. Made sure to include the last issue of The Friend magazine so we could read the Easter stories that were in there.

But eventually we got him down, I think Drew ended up carrying him down. And he went through his basket. Drew picked up breakfast yesterday for Easter Morning, just something fun and different. So we had mini chocolate covered donuts and orange juice. (I didn't really have any because my stomach felt a little on the upset side.) And then after we ate and got our shoes on for church we realized we still had almost an hour to wait before we'd have to get in the car. So we sat in the den on the couch and watched "Charlie Brown & The Easter Beagle"

He was looking at the little activity pack in which he got in his basket, it was an Angry Birds one.

Andrew was amazed by the LARGE pencil! I thought it was so cute. He just kept looking at it with this big smile of amazement! :D

And we got him Bubbles. I tried to get some Spring themed items and Bubbles was one of them. Also there was egg shaped side walk chalk & two packets of carrot seeds to grow. (Although the snow is melting, we still have at least a foot or more in some area that get the drifts)

We had stopped this tradition... Or at least just haven't done it in a while... But every Sunday when we get home from church I like to have us sit on the bottom stairs for a family picture before going up and changing out of our church clothes. Well today it was just so hard to get it done... But this is two of the best. :)

Hahaha! This is probably the best of Drew & I and the one above is the best of Andrew. :)

We didn't do the Easter Outfit because he really needed a pair of church shoes. We took him to Payless the day before and had him try on shoes... Which was a battle.. But luckily the worker did really well with him and got the perfect pair of shoes!

Dying Ester Eggs. We did this this evening a few hours after church, pretty much while dinner was cooking.
I had picked up the dying kit as a mark down but thought it was just a regular Easter egg dying kit. I had never seen anything like it before after opening to package before going to bed last night.

Andrew wanted the Noah's Ark egg to have a buddy. :)

So, you put the egg in this bag and add a few drops of the dye. Then they have a bottle of loose glitter and you put the egg in a new bag and add the glitter. (If you want it) But it wasn't as messy as the traditional way. It was just different. :)

The pretty blue sparkly egg. :)

A good end to our Easter Sunday.
